Piano Extravaganza Festival

At its 9th edition, Piano Extravaganza Festival will present eight piano recitals, one chamber music concerts, one jazz concert, one music evening and “Open doors day” for adults and children. The extraordinary artists and the variety of the repertoire of the 12 events will satisfy even the most sophisticated connoisseurs.
The event has become a music festival with a distinct theme, which makes it unique in its character and program content.
The program of the event includes, along with the well-known masterpieces of classical music, works of similarly high quality, but rarely performed or by authors left undeservedly in the shadow of the most brilliant composers.

Baroque Arts Festival – 13 th Edition

The festival is part of the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality. It has established itself as the only festival in Bulgaria about ancient music. It presents the European musical art through historically informed performance and instruments relevant to the era during which the music pieces were created, and thus places Sofia among the hosts of such festivals - Barcelona, London, Berlin, Istanbul, Bucharest and others. The festival is part of the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality for 2019.

Cinemania (Kinomania)

Lumiere Cinema
Cinemania is the oldest and most popular film event in Bulgaria. Started in 1987 as World Movie Panorama, in 1993 it was renamed to Cinemania. In its 32-year history, the festival has remained true to the slogan "Film Events of the Year". Cinemania presents some of the most attractive and valuable foreign films for the previous two years, which have not been screened in Bulgaria.
The main objective is the geographical and genre diversity of the film program, which should encompass a wide range of fans. Cinemania has become a sign of quality selection and gathers thousands of people teaching them to love this kind of art.

Baroque Arts Festival – Studiolo dei tempi

Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski - Ceremonial Hall


A performance dedicated to the Renaissance and the aesthetic ideals of the early Baroque with the participation of Bulgarian singers, ballet and ensemble with years of experience in the field of the ancient vocal repertoire. The concert program will offer original opera scenes, duets and instrumental works by Italian composers from the 17th century, as well as a contemporary work by A. Atanasov based on Monteverdi's Il ballo delle ingrate.
