Description
Georgi Asparuhov Stadium is the third in the history of PFC Levski (Sofia). It is popular as Gerena Stadium (from the old name of the neighborhood in which it was built) and opened in 1963. The stadium has a grass field and dimensions 110x80 m. There is an athletics track around it and benches with capacity of 28 000 seats. The west stand is covered with a visor. In 2017 the stadium changed its name to Vivacom Arena – Georgi Asparuhov due to signed 6 years sponsorship agreement with naming rights included.
