Description
Earth and Man National Museum - Sofia is a state cultural institute of national significance. The Museum performs nationwide search, acquisition, exploration, preservation and presentation of minerals and mineral resources as an important part of the national natural heritage. It participates in the implementation of state policy study and preservation of cultural heritage, together with the competent state and municipal authorities. The Museum provides methodological and other assistance to museums from the national museum network. Earth and Man National Museum is a seat of charity, generosity and patriotism. It is created entirely with donations of Bulgarian and foreign physical and juridical persons.

The museum created these conditions for access of people with disabilities. At the main entrance of the building, there is steel inclined ramp access. It provides an approach to information for visitors, ticket sales and first floor of the exhibition hall. At the beginning of the first floor of the exhibition hall is built vertical lifting platform (type elevator), which provides access to the second floor of the exhibition hall.
