Historical Information
Nikolay Ignatiev (1832-1902) is a Russian general, diplomat and a great defender of the Bulgarian cause. He took part in the working out and signed the peace treaty of San Stefano (19th February 1878). He said: "My heart belongs to the Bulgarians and I wish them that they flourish in my dreams."
