15 Years of A to JazZ: Sofia’s Ultimate Urban Festival Returns This July!
This summer, music lovers from across the globe are invited to celebrate a major milestone in the heart of the Balkans.
From July 2 to 5, the beautiful South Park II transforms into the ultimate epicenter of global sounds as the A to JazZ Festival marks its 15th anniversary. Operating under the motto "Music. People. City.", Bulgaria's largest urban culture festival is gearing up for its most spectacular edition yet, beautifully blending world-class live music, an immersive community spirit, and a green, sustainable lifestyle.
Main Stage Highlights
The festival’s main stage will feature an extraordinary gathering of global icons, virtuosos, and rising stars.
The journey begins on July 2 with the vibrant World Music Showcase, introducing 12 spectacular and culturally diverse acts from all corners of the planet, followed by daily afternoon sets from exceptional European and Bulgarian jazz formations.
The excitement reaches a fever pitch on July 3 when the legendary Miles Electric Band takes the stage as part of their global tour celebrating the Miles Davis Centennial, bringing together legendary Davis alumni and new-generation stars.
The following night, the incomparable, multi-Grammy-winning Dee Dee Bridgewater Quartet will captivate the audience with her deeply personal and socially charged project "We Exist".
Finally, on July 5, the two-time Grammy winner Nate Smith will deliver a high-energy, historic final curtain call.
More Than a Music Festival
A to JazZ is far more than just evening concerts; it is an all-day immersive experience designed for all generations.
Festivalgoers can kickstart their weekend days in the park with a boost of energy by joining outdoor A to JazZ Workouts or finding their flow during upliftingMusical Yoga sessions on the green grass.
For the youngest jazz fans, the festival continues its heartwarming tradition of nurturing future generations with the beloved A to JazZ Kids program, featuring interactive musical workshops and stages tailored specifically for children.
Culture, Art & Nightlife
As day turns to night, the festival grounds pulse with continuous cultural energy.
Visitors can explore the vibrant A to JazZ Art Bazar showcasing exceptional local crafts, fashion, and design, or wander through exciting festival installations, recreation activities, bars and street food trailers while grabbing a piece of limited-edition 15th-anniversary merchandise.
When the main stage lights go down, the groove moves indoors to the legendary A to JazZ Night Stage.
It will keep the festival alive until dawn, hosting thrilling live club concerts, explosive late-night Jam Sessions where headliners and local talents share the stage, and elite DJ afterparties.
