The Triangle Bulgaria Choral Exchange (TBCX) is an American touring chorus dedicated to deepening international cultural understanding through shared musical performance with choirs of
other countries. Their repertoire includes American folk songs, spirituals and classical sacred music, as well as popular music specific to the local culture.
TBCX was formed by Nancy Clapp-Channing, directed by Dr. Rodney Wynkoop and is named for a cluster of three cities in North Carolina in the United States known as “The Triangle”. The choir’s 35 singers have a range of backgrounds, from college students to teachers, choral directors, academicians, philanthropists, physicians and business operators. Choral Exchange choruses have traveled to Russia, Latvia, South Africa, Namibia, Brazil, Cuba, Spain, Chile and Peru, performing in both formal and shared choral concert settings.
