A Variety of Festivals and Bazaars in May

This May Sofia is offering a palette of festivals. From May 9 to May 12, Sofia Science Festival will present the achievements of world-renowned scholars and young researchers from Bulgaria and abroad. The main objective of the festival is to stimulate interest in science among young people, to inform about the latest scientific efforts and to establish science as part of Sofia Tech Park www.facebook.com/sofia.science.festival On May 15 Sofia invites you to Literature Night 2019 and you will be able to enjoy public literary readings.

From May 28 to June 2, 2019 Spring Book Bazaar and Sofia International Literature Festival will be held. The traditional Spring Book Bazaar at the National Palace of Culture will take place for the 13th time. The biggest publishing houses in Bulgaria will take part in it. It will offer meetings between readers and popular Bulgarian authors, public readings, discussions and exhibitions. In 2019 the 2nd edition of Sofia International Literature Festival will also be held.

From May 2 to May 14 at the National Palace of Culture will also be held the 9th edition of Sofia Paper Art Fest which will offer exhibitions, performances and lectures. You can find more information about the upcoming events at www.artsofia.bg.
