Sofia Tourism Region with a certificate for being entered into the National Tourism Register

Sofia Municipality has officially received a certificate from the Ministry of Tourism for being entered into the National Tourism Register of the Management Organization of Sofia Tourism Region. The tourist area of Sofia is one of the nine regions on the tourism map of Bulgaria. The certificate was presented during the 16th International Tourism Fair The Mountains of Bulgaria – Four-Season Hospitality which was held from October 10 to October 12,2019 in the town of Smolyan. At the exhibition, the Director of Sofia Tourism Administration and the Executive Director of the Management Organization of Sofia Tourism Region Ivo Marinov presented the establishment and structure of Sofia Tourism Region, as well as the problems and the future of tourism zoning in Bulgaria. Sofia Tourism Administration participated with its own representatives in the discussion round table "Tourism Regions in Bulgaria - state, problems and perspectives".
