In 2020 Sofia Airport Offers Flights to 59 Destinations

In 2020 Sofia Airport will offer flights to 57 destinations and the operating airlines will be 22. Two new airlines were added to Sofia Airport’s winter schedule - Eurowings and Laudamotion, as well as nine new routes.

Eurowings will offer flights from Sofia to Dusseldorf, three times a week, and there will also be flights to Stuttgart twice a week. There will be new scheduled flights to the East Midlands, Marseille, Naples, Vienna, Paris, Nuremberg and Tel Aviv.

Laudamotion will offer flights to Vienna every day except Wednesday and Sunday.

Bulgaria Air and Condor offer joint flights to exotic destinations.

The low-cost airline Ryanair will rebrand some of its structures and the company will operate under the Buzz brand at Sofia Airport. Buzz has added new routes to its schedule: Sofia - Paris (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and Sofia - Marseille (Wednesday and Sunday). The company continues to offer flights to Tel Aviv on Wednesday and Sunday, as well as to the East Midlands - every Saturday.

The low-cost Wizz Air company from June 3, 2020 is offering two new routes in its schedule: from Sofia to Billund (Denmark) and London Gatwick (UK).

At Sofia Airport there are always convenient flights to cities in Germany, England, France, Italy, Austria and Israel.

Bulgaria Air offers regular flights from the capital to St. Petersburg - from April 2020 they will take place every Wednesday and Saturday. Sofia will be connected to the second largest city in Russia by air and through another air carrier - Wizz Air. From July 2, 2020, the low-cost airline will operate flights from Sofia to St. Petersburg three times a week - every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Along with the new destinations, Wizz Air continues its flights to Naples and Nuremberg on Mondays and Fridays.
