“European Night of Museums” in the National Archaeological Museum

Traditionally, the National Archaeological Museum takes part in the “European Night of Museums” initiative, organized by the French Institute in cooperation with Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and Sofia Municipality.

This year, due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the event will take place on Saturday, 14 th of November 2020. The National Archaeological Museum opens its doors to all visitors who will be guided through the halls by mediators.

Save the date: Saturday, 14 th of November 2020, from 10 am till 7 pm, Free admission.

Meantime, on the website of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum (NAIM), a free visit to the museum's exhibition is accessible through a special 3D-platform for virtual reality (http://naim.bg/bg/tour/). Thus, relying on new technologies, the team of NAIM faces the challenges of living in a global pandemic, and continues to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience.

In a strict compliance with the anti-epidemic measures, a group of a max. 10 persons is admitted every 15 minutes. Disinfectants are available at the entrance of each hall. Visitors are reminded that it is mandatory to wear personal protective equipment and keep a distance of at least 2 m from each other.
