Only a day after the adoption of Sofia's budget, the assessment of the famous international rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P Global Ratings) came out. It reaffirmed the long-term credit rating of the city – BBB with a stable outlook, and Sofia's rating is now equal to Bulgaria's one.
This is a recognition of the work of the Mayor’s team despite the crisis. The good result is achieved on the basis of a stable budget and impeccable financial discipline.

The press center of Sofia Municipality has reminded its residents that the tax campaign has started and anyone that pays their tax for motor vehicles or real estate will have a 5% discount until April 30, as long as they pay what is due for the whole of 2021.
Sofia joined the cities with investment ratings in December 2017.
