Youth festival My Sofia. Youth with causes launched on August 12

"We want to provoke, support and inspire the young people of Sofia to create a better life for themselves and those around them," said Miroslav Borsosh, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality, on the occasion of the pilot edition of the festival My Sofia. Youth with causes.

In the European Year of Youth, Sofia supports initiatives for young people with a lot of music, as well as campaigns with a cause and sports.

The fest is three days long and starts on August 12 - the International Day of Young People.The festival will be on an area of ​​5 acres in the newly opened Agora space, in the immediate vicinity of the HPP – Kokalyane and Pancharevo Lake.

The activities are aimed at the young people of Sofia, their friends and families. This year, the event spotlights 4 campaigns with a cause: Adopt love. Save a life! BUT of the Four Paws Foundation; prevention of the use of narcotic substances by the Preventive Information Center on the problems of drug addictions of the Metropolitan Municipality (PIC for DA - Sofia); mental health prevention with the Animus Foundation; supporting people with multiple sclerosis with the MS Moga Sam Foundation and with the Create a Crane initiative.
