At the National History Museum in Sofia, the last two weekends of October will be dedicated to children. The museum organizes various talks and workshops for the little ones, where children will learn interesting facts and learn new skills. This is reported by the museum. On October 22 and 23, at the NIM Museum Training Center (Vitoshko Lale Str. 16, 1404 Boyana Square), children will be able to participate in pottery, embroidery, flag-making and ethnographic costume workshops. There will also be a workshop dedicated to Chiprovtsi carpets, where children will learn the meaning of the figures woven into Chiprovtsi carpets and make an appliqué with glossy paper on cardboard.
For October 29, National History Museum has planned workshops for getting to know the Chiprovtsi carpets, the symbols of power, as well as for making mosaics, and on Sunday, October 30, children will be able to participate in an ethnographic workshop for making collages with fantastic animals. The workshops are suitable for children aged 5-10 years.
