I Paint like Picasso in the Studentski District

On the occasion of Europe Day - May 9th, Studentski District will implement the initiative I Paint like Picasso, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the death of the great artist.

Pablo Picasso is one of the most iconic artists of contemporary art. His works are socially engaged, send a message of peace and unity and establish themselves as basic European values relevant in modern life. The initiative will cover fifth-graders from the two municipal schools 8th Secondary School , Vasil Levski and 55th Secondary School, Petko Karavelov, who, after learning about the life and work of Pablo Picasso, will participate in a creative workshop I Paint like Picasso and will create in his style.

The works of the "small - big" artists will be arranged in an exhibition in the district administration building, and the best drawings will be awarded.

The project is part of the Cultural Events Calendar of the Sofia Municipality.
