Bulgarian artists from Chicago with an exhibition in Sofia

The State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs is part of the celebrations of the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the United States of America.

In connection with this, the exhibition Here and There: Between Two Shores will be opened in the Mission Gallery (MFA) on August 2 at 6 p.m. The exhibition presents paintings by artists from the group Bulgarian Artists Abroad - Chicago.

The idea is based on the coast as a universal symbol of the journey and the positioning of the participants in it - in the space between the two realities: Here (America) and There (Bulgaria). The curator of the exhibition is Prof. Vasilen Vasevski, who lives in Chicago.

The event is on August 2, Wednesday, 6 - 8 p.m.
