A partnership agreement between the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Regional History Museum in Sofia was signed on August 1 by the general director of BTA Kiril Valchev and the director of RIM-Sofia Veneta Khandzhiyska. The signing of this contract takes place in the year in which BTA turns 125 and RIM-Sofia celebrates its 95th anniversary.
BTA has already signed partnership contracts with several museums in Sofia and the country. In addition, it supports the BG Archeology section, in which the agency provides all information related to archaeological discoveries in Bulgaria. It is not by chance that BTA expands its circle of partners with RIM - Sofia, because it is one of the oldest museums in Bulgaria.
Along with the permanent exhibition, ROME - Sofia constantly has new exhibitions. The cultural institution also helps a number of museums, which are mostly in the Sofia region - Samokov, Botevgrad, Etropole, Pravets, the village of Vidrare. Branches of the museum are the Tomb of Prince Alexander I of Battenberg, the National Reconciliation Exhibition, the Archaeological Level of the Saint Sophia Basilica, the House-Museum Nenko Balkanski, the Triangular Tower of Serdika, the Archaeological Park West Gate of Serdika, the Ancient Cultural- communication complex Serdika.
BTA and RIM Sofia will join their efforts in presenting the cultural heritage of the capital and promoting it in the most appropriate and professional way with people who care about it from museum experts and journalists in BTA.
