The youngest spectators, between the ages of 2 and 5, will be the first visitors to Sofia Puppet Theater in the new season. On September 13, from 10:00 and 11:30 a.m., in the lobby of 14 Gurko Street, the children's play Little Budket with little Shovel will be performed, with author and director Elsa Laleva. On Saturday and Sunday - September 16 and 17 from 11:00 a.m., spectators will be able to enjoy the performances Kose Bose /in the salon at 14 Gurko St./ and The Princesses and the Dragon /in the salon on Blvd. Yanko Sakazov 19.
On the occasion of Sofia Day - September 17, SPT will give free visits to children's performances for the entire season to four spectators who visit the theater's performances on the holiday. The winners - two in the salon at 14 Gurko St. and two in the salon at 19 Yanko Sakazov Blvd. - will be drawn by raffle by the actors after the end of the performance.
To participate in the raffle, spectators must keep their tickets until the end of the show.
Already in the first week of the new season, the theater will celebrate two jubilee performances - the 70th performance of Little Budket with little Shovel / on 13.09. from 11.30 a.m. and the 50th performance of Kose Bose / on 16.09. from 11.00 a.m./
On September 27, from 19.00, SKT will also delight its grown-up fans, who will be able to enjoy the Broadway musical for adults Avenue Q.
In the new season, the Sofia Puppet Theater will offer its viewers both performances from its repertoire and new performances. Rehearsals are currently underway for When the Daisy Blooms by Rada Moskova, directed by Elsa Laleva, scenography by Stefka Kyvlieva, music by Vladimir Djambazov. The premiere performances will be on September 30 at 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and on October 1 at 11:00 a.m., in the salon at 19 Yanko Sakazov Blvd. The musical performance based on the classic fairy tale "Cinderella", beloved by generations, is also in active preparation, the premiere of which will be held in November. The production and direction of the performance are by Prof. Bonyo Lungov and Prof. Konstantin Karakostov, the scenography is by Natalia Gocheva, and the music is by Misho Shishkov.
