Museum specialists from all over the world gather at a conference in Sofia

The scientific group of the National Ethnographic Museum (IEFEM - BAS) organized the sixth scientific conference with international participation "Debates in museology". The event will be held on November 7 and 8 in hall 19 of IEFEM - BAS (6A, Moskovska Street) and will be dedicated to storytelling in museums, the cultural institution reports. Scientists and museum specialists from all over the country will take part in the forum, as well as representatives of museum institutions from New York, Zagreb, Budapest, Yale University, Leiden University and the international organization Atelier Brückner.

Within the framework of the conference, reports will be presented dedicated to various topics related to the museum narrative through the scientific view of historians, ethnologists, archaeologists; with its role in education and the presentation of tangible and intangible heritage - storytelling; with its impact on exhibition themes and working with audiences, etc.
