Presentation of Mary

On November 21, the Church honors the greatest liturgical feast in autumn – the Presentation of Mary. The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple reminds us how Joachim and Anne brought their three-year-old daughter to the Temple in Jerusalem, how she was brought up to love God and how she acquired her virtues.

In Bulgaria, Orthodox Youth and Family Day is also on November 21. On this day, the whole family gathers and celebrates the feast. These two feasts send a beautiful message regarding Christian morals and the beauty in human relations.
