Historical Information
The National Church Historical and Archaeological Museum is housed in the building of the Theological Academy (today Faculty of Theology of Sofia University). The building in which the museum is situated, was built in the period 1912-1916 to commemorate the establishing of the Bulgarian Exarchate in 1870.
