Sofia will Welcome You with a New Aqua Park at the End of 2019

The project for the expansion of Vazrazhdane Park in Sofia is ready and at the end of 2019 it will be realized. Another 25 decares will be included: the park will be expanded by 18,2 decares, and on the other 6,6 decares an aqua park and mineral water pools will be built. All the trees in the park will be preserved and additionally more than 400 broad-leaved trees and conifers will be planted.

The aim of the project is to turn the park into a favourite family area for the needs of children and adults, a place for all residents and guests of Sofia.

The aqua park will have 5 outdoor pools and the main focus will be the children's pool with a depth of 15 cm and an area of 684 square meters. There will be located a water play facility with 3 slides and many other attractions. There will also be a children’s pool with a depth of 60 cm, a baby pool with a depth of 20 cm, a swimming pool with a depth of 140 cm and an area of 300 sq. m. A hydromassage pool with a depth of 90 cm and an area of 44 square meters is also being planned. The project includes two waterslides and a fast food restaurant. The aqua park is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
