LUFTHANSA PROCLAIMED SOFIA CITY OF THE MONTH

Sofia is one of the many destinations on the map of the major airline carrier Lufthansa, but in September 2019, it was featured on their Travel Guide – on the site of the company, named City of the Month. Thus, Lufthansa promoted Sofia by presenting it briefly and providing a tourist map of the Bulgarian capital as well as information about the peculiarities of the Bulgarian cuisine. It further presented the top 10 places that should be visited, as well as an attractive route around the city which offers various shopping opportunities – markets, shopping centers, and shopping streets. It provided tourist information about the weather, the usage of Internet and mobile phones, etiquette and how to behave, the nightlife, and important holidays in Bulgaria. The special place given to Sofia this September is indicative of the powerful message that this ancient city carries, a recognition of its millennial wisdom, which has attracted people from all over the world.
